The Lagopians[1] are a species closely resembling anthromorphic foxes, with white fur, and an average height of 1.59m (5' 3"). They hail from the Fidecia Ceahria system, and are at present, a multi-system segment of the Federation, controlling four systems primarily centered in the Celarian Reach, and participants in many colonial ventures throughout the Alpha Quadrant.
Physiology
Like a lot of species, they are sexually dimorphic, and can reproduce with humans, with only a limited amount of medical intervention.
History
First encountered in 2175 by the USS Wilson, the Lagopians were at first standoffish but eventually joined in 2210, after diplomatic efforts and when the Federation ratified the Act of Stellar Union of 2210. This Act formed a formal Federation council-parliament-thingy
